Profile

One platform. Pick your launch, or take both.

The ModuRamp Core Series is a 30" wide launch ramp built from powder coated aluminum side plates, three formed aluminum braces, and a haircell ABS skin, held together with corrosion-resistant hardware. Anti-skid rubber along the bottom of the side plates limits movement when a truck hits it. It weighs about 10 lb, comes apart to lie flat in the car, and nothing in it swells, warps or rots. The side plates set the profile. Change them and the same ramp launches differently.

Choose a profile

  • Launch 40. 40° exit, 10.43" lip. Long, mellow sends. Where most people start.
  • Kicker 55. 55° exit, 11.07" lip. Steeper and higher, with a shorter run.
  • Launch 40 + Kicker 55. One ramp with both pairs of side plates. Changing over is the same job as assembly.

Built to grow

ModuRamp is a system. A profile is a pair of side plates, sold as a Module. More Modules are on the way, and not all of them are about distance. Next on the bench: something for going over, not out. Every one will fit the Core Series ramp you buy today.

Rated, with margin

Every rating is published with a 2x safety margin on peak load at the lip. A 12 lb truck with its battery in is rated to 41 mph on the Launch 40 and 33 mph on the Kicker 55. Check your truck's number below.

In the kit

  • Side plates: one pair, or both pairs with Launch 40 + Kicker 55
  • Skin with three braces attached
  • Crash brace
  • M4 thumb screws and M4 flanged button head screws, all corrosion resistant
  • 2.5 mm hex key
  • BashLabs sticker sheet

Assembly takes about 10 minutes the first time and about 5 after that. It is tool-free with the thumb screws, or use the hex screws for the tightest hold. See the steps.

Launch geometry

Two launches. Two curves.

Not one curve propped higher. A shallow arc propped up is like hitting a wall. Each profile is its own arc, drawn for the launch: one long arc on the Launch 40, and the same arc tightening into a flick on the Kicker 55. Both are shaped for 1/10 and 1/8 scale trucks.

ModuRampBoth faces laid over each other, to scale. They start flat on the ground and share one arc, then split. It looks like a small change. At 20 mph it is 3.5 ft more height.

Will it send my truck?

Pick your truck. We'll tell you what it's rated to and which profile to start on. Ratings use ready-to-run weight with the battery in, and every number is published at a 2x safety margin on peak load.

Width check

Speeds are at the lip, with the battery in. Trucks with a wheelbase over 17.5″ get a lower number, because the rear axle is off the face at peak load. The picker does that math for you.

Modular

The side plates set the launch.

Every Core Series ramp is the same skin, the same three braces and the same crash brace. The pair of side plates decides the profile: 40° for distance, 55° for height.

Want both? The Launch 40 + Kicker 55 comes with both pairs, and changing over is the same job as assembly. More Modules are on the way, and not all of them are about distance. Next on the bench: something for going over, not out. Every one will fit the ramp you buy today.

Materials

Aluminum where it counts.

Not molded plastic. Not plywood. The parts that carry the load are metal, the part that wears is cheap to replace, and the whole ramp weighs about 10 lb. On the ground it is 24" long by 30" wide, and it comes apart flat in minutes for the trip to your bash spot.

Aluminum side plates

Cut from plate and powder coated. They hold the profile, so the launch you bought is the launch you get.

Rear view of the ramp showing the braces and crash brace between the side plates

Formed aluminum braces

Three braces under the skin and a crash brace at the back tie the plates together. Rated for 100 lb standing on the lip. The braces are bare aluminum, and forming leaves visible tooling marks along each bend. Some scratches may be present too. They are cosmetic only.

Haircell ABS face of the ramp seen from the front

Haircell ABS skin

The haircell texture gives tires extra traction up the face and shrugs off rock rash. When it is finally worn out, a replacement skin bolts to the same braces.

Side view of the ramp sitting on grass

Stays put

Anti-skid rubber runs along the bottom edge of both side plates, so the ramp grips the ground and moves less when a truck hits it.

Ramp on grass with thumb screws holding the skin to the side plates

Corrosion-resistant hardware

Thumb screws for a tool-free build, or flanged M4 screws for the tightest hold. Both are included, and both are corrosion resistant.

Ramp on grass seen from the low end

Built for outside

Powder-coated side plates, aluminum braces, weather-resistant ABS and corrosion-resistant hardware. Bare aluminum doesn’t rust. Wet grass and mud are part of the job. Nothing here swells, warps or rots.

Room to land it

30 inches of face.

Wide enough for 1/10 and 1/8 monster trucks with room on each side. Check your truck in the picker above.

You could build one.

Plenty of people do, and a plywood ramp works. Here is what a Saturday of building gets you, what a molded ramp gets you, and what this one does differently.
